The Commercial Bank of Sri Lanka (ComBank) recently opened a branch in Neluwa, in the Galle District. The bank now has 135 branches islandwide.
Speaking at the opening, Mahendra Amarasuriya, the bank’s chairman, said that the branch was opened to offer financial assistance to tea smallholders and to other businesses in the area;-to develop the entire region. The new branch is connected to all other Commercial Bank branches and has its ATM, the 220th in the bank’s teller network.
