Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) calendar for 2010 features a selection of images that depict the heritage of the Sinharaja Rainforest, bringing to life its flora and fauna. With the United Nations declaring 2010 as the ‘International Year of Biodiversity’, the need to safeguard earth’s resources and all life forms has yet again been highlighted. In line with this and under the theme of ‘preserving heritage for tomorrow’, the SLT calendar seeks to raise awareness on the importance of conserving the country’s resources and heritage.
