Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national information and communication technology solutions provider in the country conducted 18 regional events parallel to the launch of National Digital Roadmap, under the theme of ‘SMART Sri Lanka’.
These regional events were conducted at various places such as: Gampaha, Kalagedihena, Wadduwa, Ratnapura, Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Moneragala, Anuradhapura, Galle, Matara, Polonnaruwa, Chilaw, Kurunegala, Jaffna, Batticaloa and Ampara with the participation of over 4500 including regional Government officials, business customers and society leaders representing the general public. The regional sessions comprised several awareness presentations, discussion, forums and live demonstrations. SLT business partnering organizations such as Sri Lanka Telecom Services, SLT Digital Info Services, Fentons Limited, Epic Lanka, SALA Enterprises, Finco Technologies and e-solutions Lanka were also joined to facilitate the demonstrations
