Minodh De Sylva, Manager Retail Marketing said the aim of this promotion is to encourage people to open savings accounts and thus encourage the savings habit. “A draw will be held once a week during the promotion period and all those who open a savings account during this period will be eligible to participate in a weekly draw. A total of 8 such draws will be held in all, said De Sylva.
The promotion guarantees a winner every week. Winners will be notified by letters as well as via a radio announcement.
