The winning team of People’s Bank.
The People’s Bank team was crowned champions for the second time at the ‘SLIM – Battle of Brain Champs-2023’ – Marketers Quiz. SLIM hosts this mind sporting event to test participants’ knowledge in marketing, strategy, branding, and general knowledge. The Battle of Brain Champs featured five rounds, providing each team with ten intriguing questions covering various areas, including marketing essentials and concepts, consumer behavior, brand fundamentals, international marketing, economics, business highlights, and strategic thoughts. At the end of five rounds, the People’s Bank Team reigned supreme, where Quiz Teams from Unilever Sri Lanka and 99X Technologies were placed runner-up and second runner up, respectively. The winning team from People’s Bank was represented by Pulasthi Gunasekara, Team Leader, Manager – Risk Management & Credit Control Department; Charith Malalasakera, Manager – Kiriella Branch; Pasan Gunarathne, Manager – Treasury Back Office; Upeksha Vidanapathirana, Manager – Treasury Front Office; and Amanda Pakianathan, Deputy Manager – Investment Banking Unit.
