RG Hewabowala, chairman/ managing director, of Silicon Coatings (Pvt) Ltd., and manufacturers of the reputed ‘Nippolac’ brand. decorative and industrial paints, was recently awarded the ‘International Gold Star’ award for industry at a prestigious gathering at the Le Meridian, New Delhi.
These awards are given to most outstanding men from the field of science, Technology, Education, Industry, Fine Arts etc. These awards are presented by the India International Friendship Society.
Earlier, Hewabowala was also awarded the Gold Medal for Entrepreneurship in the large category of companies in the Southern Province, last year.
