Maliban Biscuit Manufactories recently donated a vehicle to The Ceylon Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis (CNAPT).
The event was attended by A G R Samaraweera, Chairman and other directors of Maliban Biscuit Manufactories with P D Fonseka, Secretary General – CNAPT.
The keys to the two-wheeled Double Cab Bolero were ceremoniously handed over to Fonseka by A G R Samaraweera, Chairman – Maliban Biscuit Manufactories. The vehicle will be used by CNAPT to carry out work related to tuberculosis prevention. Commenting on the motive of donating the vehicle, Raja Abeyanayake, Marketing Consultant – Maliban Manufactories said, “a request was made by The Ceylon Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis to our Chairman, A G R Samaraweera and as it is a worthy cause, he agreed without any hesitation.”
This new vehicle will be a beneficial addition to CNAPT in order to carry out the respective projects more efficiently.
