To cater to the growing demand for financial services, Orient Finance has relocated its Galle branch to a spacious premises at 60B, Colombo Road, Kaluwella, Galle. The branch was ceremoniously opened by Suresh Amarasekara, CEO – Orient Finance, in the presence of Thushan Abeythunga, Galle branch manager, corporate management customers and well-wishers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Suresh Amarasekara reminisced on the company’s 34-year history and its journey towards becoming a major player in the industry. He attributed much of the company’s latest success to the recent merger between Orient Finance and Bartleet Finance. Explaining that the organisation decided to upgrade the Galle branch to provide superior and highly efficient services to their valuable customers in the area, Amarasekara added that the branch is equipped to provide all financial services including leasing, hire purchase, working capital loans and factoring as well as providing attractive interest rates for fixed deposit and savings accounts.
The branch also provides leasing facilities coupled with a trade-in option where prospective customers can trade in their existing vehicle to purchase a new vehicle, a process which eliminates the time and effort of disposing the existing vehicle. Through this facility, OFP has tapped into a niche market in the highly competitive leasing market.
