HNB inaugurated a Cash Recycle Machine (CRM) at the Digital Banking Zone, located within the Defence Headquarters Complex in Akuregoda, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. The Cash Recycle Machine (CRM) marked an important milestone in HNB’s service offerings as it is the nation’s 800th Self-Service Machine (SSM). The advanced facility will provide the numerous personnel working at the complex with convenient access to self-banking needs such as withdrawals, deposits, real-time fund transfers, credit card settlements, cash-to-mobile withdrawals, mobile reloads, utility, and other bill payments. Secretary to the Ministry of Defence General Kamal Gunaratne was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Chakshika Amarawardhana, Senior Manager Digital Banking, HNB; Piyakara Jayaratne, Senior Manager – Employee Banking, HNB; Dineth Rajapakse, Manager of Battaramulla Customer Centre, HNB; Senior Officers of Defence Ministry and Tri-forces, and senior bank officials also participated in the event.
