The international “Next Generation Network Standardisation Forum,” which was hosted by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL), in association with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) successfully concluded recently. The four-day Forum brought together over 100 delegates from 31 countries from African and Asian regions. Priyantha Kariyapperuma, Director General of TRCSL and Vice Chairman, CTO made the welcome address at the inauguration, which was followed by a message delivered by the President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapakse. The event was coordinated by Glenda Parthipan of Emphasis.
