Sampath Bank won the ‘Bank of the Year 2009′ award. The award was presented by ‘The Banker’ magazine of Financial Times – London.
The recognition of Sampath Bank being named ‘Bank of the Year 2009′ in Sri Lanka is clear testament to its outstanding performance and financial stability and it is the objective of Sampath to become a driving force for new Sri Lanka, the bank noted.
