Tata Communications Lanka, a subsidiary of Tata Communications, appointed Janaka Jayalath as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Jayalath is a mobile telecom expert in Sri Lanka, with over 20 years of professional experience. Prior to joining Tata Communications Lanka, Jayalath was the Senior General Manager at Mobitel.
Janaka Jayalath takes over from Ravi Sankar, who served as the CEO of Tata Communications Lanka for the past nine years. Jayalath will be the company’s first Sri Lankan CEO.
