IFS strengthens South Asian management team

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, is expanding its business operations in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
“IFS South Asia grew 24 percent Year-Over-Year (YoY) in total revenue reflecting success of our go to market strategy in the region in-spite of a turbulent 2019. Further, maintenance revenue grew by 30 percent compared to last year, which signifies the trust placed on IFS by our customers. We have done well and are growing faster. We don’t want to stop there, as having a challenger mindset, we would keep on challenging ourselves to get better to serve better. Four key profiles will join the IFS South Asia Operations to further expand business opportunities and support clients.
Shouqi Omar, Director and Head of Consultancy—South Asia brings 22 years of professional experience in global IT services, delivery management, complex programme and project management, enterprise application design and delivery, presales, business solutions consulting, business systems implementation, and consultative selling. Shouqi Omar joins IFS from IBM Global Business Services, where he worked for more than seven years.
Anurudda Kariyawasam, Country Sales Manager, IFS Pakistan and Bangladesh has 13 years of experience in the international IT sector. Anurudda Kariyawasam will help increase partnerships with new clients and existing clients in emerging markets such as Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Indrajit De Silva, Head of Key Accounts for Sri Lanka, hails from a sales background with more than ten years of experience in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Malaysia and the Middle East. His experience spans across companies such as IBM and Microsoft handling sales projects as well as managing customers across banking, telco and manufacturing sectors.
Vishwagith Premarathna, Principal Project Manager joins IFS with over 20 years work experience spanning consulting, programme management and delivery excellence, with leadership roles with both international and national conglomerates will be responsible for enhanced and efficient programme management and project delivery for IFS clients in South Asia.
